Whether you're seeking a relaxing, adventurous or active holiday, Port El Kantaoui has the variety of options you'd expect of a purpose built holiday resort.

Want to relax? Take a boat ride from the marina or simply laze by the pool. If you're an activity seeker, test your arm on the impressive PGA golf course, while adventurous types can take a desert safari and experience the Tunisian wilderness at first hand.

During your trip, be sure to sample local Tunisian food. Unlike other North African cuisine, Tunisian food is spicy and flavoursome, thanks in no small part to the popular harissa paste often used in its preparation.

Visit Sousse

Located just ten minutes from Port El Kantaoui, the city of Sousse will appeal to holiday makers who wish to sample traditional Tunisian culture.

Sousse's medina hosts a number of colourful shops overflowing with wool blankets, copper, silver jewelry, and carpets. Also worth witnessing are the Great Mosque, the museum and the towering Ribat.

Get Sporty

Port El Kantaoui offers a variety of sporting facilities, none more impressive than the 36-hole PGA approved golf course.

A wide selection of water sports are also available including scuba diving, water skiing, windsurfing and fishing, whilst on dry land visitors can take advantage of 11 floodlit tennis courts, volley ball and horse riding.

Boat Trips

Take a boat trip from the marina aboard the pirate galleons Aziza or Jalila. Setting sail along the coastline of Sousse you can attempt to spot dolphins or enjoy the onboard barbeque.

As well as pleasure cruises there are glass-bottomed boat tours and fishing excursions to enjoy.

Bedouin Feast

Enjoy an evening of traditional Tunisian entertainment at a Bedouin feast. After sampling local specialty foods and wines under the starlight, a variety of Bedouin dancers, acrobats, horsemen and belly dancers provide the entertainment.

A night in the desert is both mystical and romantic, a perfect holiday activity for couples.

Desert Safari

Take an excursion into the Sahara desert, stopping at the El Jem amphitheatre and the famous setting of the Star Wars films in Matmata. Along route you will also have the opportunity to visit a real Berber family home, built underneath the caves to escape the heat.

When reaching Douz, the gateway to the Sahara, you can watch the sun setting behind the endless sands, as Arab horses and camels provide passage for weary travellers.
